Un gruppo di amici, una passione comune per la musica rock e heavy metal, e una birreria.

Da questi semplici ingredienti è nato Luppolo in Rock, il Festival che si svolge a Cremona durante l'estate nella location storica del Parco delle Colonie Padane.

Da quel gruppo di amici invece si è sviluppata la Luppolo in Rock Family, il motore umano della manifestazione, dove i km percorsi da ogni membro in Italia, in Europa e nel Mondo per vedere i concerti dei propri artisti preferiti, sono diventati il carburante per portare a Cremona qualche giorno di musica, divertimento, aggregazione, solidarietà e tutto quello che di bello, grande e emozionante si può trovare in un concerto di musica dal vivo.
A bunch of friends, a common passion for rock and heavy metal music, and a beer garden.
That's how Luppolo in Rock was born, a Festival that takes place in Cremona during summer in the historical location of Parco delle Colonie Padane.
Those friends set up the Luppolo in Rock Family, the human engine of the festival, where the miles travelled from each member in Italy, Europe and all over the world to see they're favorite bands gigs became the actual fuel to bring in Cremona a few days of music, fun time, aggregation, sympathy and all the goodness and emotions you can find in a live music concert.

LUPPOLO IN ROCK 2018
Durante la prima edizione di Luppolo in Rock svoltasi il 13, 14, 15 Luglio del 2018 si sono esibiti nella serata di apertura del venerdì: Suicide Solution, Giacomo Voli e David Reece, vocalist, tra gli altri, dei teutonici Accept.
Sabato 14 è stato il turno di Di'Aul, From the Depth, Avelion, Geoff Tate (ex Queensrÿche) ed i tedeschi Primal Fear, alfieri del power metal.
Infine, l'ultima giornata, domenica 15, hanno calcato il palco Master Prova, Headless, Lipz e i danesi D-A-D.
During the first edition of Luppolo in Rock that took place on July the 13th, 14th and 15th 2018 performed during the first night of friday: Suicide Solution, Giacomo Voli and David Reece, vocalist, among the others, of germans Accept.
Saturday the 14th was the turn of Di'Aul, From the Depth, Avelion, Geoff Tate (former Queensrÿche) and germans Primal Fear, flag-bearers of power metal.
On the last day of Sunday the 15th, we had on stage Master Prova, Headless, Lipz and danish D-A-D.

LUPPOLO IN ROCK 2019
La seconda edizione di Luppolo in Rock si è svolta in quattro serate volte all'eterogeneità e sviluppata tra il 10 ed il 14 Luglio del 2019.
Mercoledì 10 hanno suonato Aerostation ed i veterani del prog rock della PFM.
Giovedì 11 è stato il turno di Dead Beat Souls, David Reece, Evergrey e i pionieri storici del melodic death metal targato Göteborg, Dark Tranquillity.
Venerdì 12 serata old school con Necrofilia, Suicide Solution, Flotsam and Jetsam, i granitici Armored Saint capitanati da John Bush, ed infine i Metal Church del compianto Mike Howe.
Sabato 13, a conclusione del Festival, si sono esibiti Sunburn, Ancillotti, Night Demon, Tower of Babel, Freedom Call e il symphonic power metal dei Kamelot.
The second edition of Luppolo in Rock took place in four nights aimed to heterogeneity and took place in July from the 10th to the 14th 2019.
Wednesdy the 10th played Aerostation and italians prog rock veterans of PFM.
Thursday the 11th was the turn of Dead Beat Souls, David Reece, Evergrey and pioneers of melodic death metal branded Göteborg, Dark Tranquillity.
Friday the 12th, back to old school with Necrofilia, Suicide Solution, thrashers Flotsam and Jetsam, the granitics John Bush's Armored Saint, and Metal Church of late and beloved Mike Howe.
Saturday the 13th, ending the Festival Sunburn, Ancillotti, Night Demon, Tower of Babel, Freedom Call and the symphonic power metal of Kamelot.
ROAD TO LUPPOLO 2021
Nel 2020, causa pandemia, è stato slittato il tutto, ma non ci siamo dati per vinti, riuscendo a creare il primo Festival covid free in Italia svoltosi nelle due serate del 28 e 29 Agosto 2021.
Sabato 28 si sono esibiti gli italiani Moonlight Haze, Elvenking e gli Epica, punta di diamante del symphonic power metal.
Domenica 29, a conclusione dell'evento, hanno suonato Genus Ordinis Dei, le thrasher Nervosa e gli ucraini Jinjer, gruppo rivelazione degli anni '20.
In 2020, because of the pandemic, we had to postpone the event, though we didn't surrender, and came out with the first covid free Festival in Italy, that took place in August 28th and 29th 2021.
On Saturday the 28th we had on stage the italians Moonlight Haze, Elvenking and, from the Netherlands, Epica: crown jewel of symphonic power metal.
On Sunday the 29th, as conclusion of the event, played Genus Ordinis Dei, thrashers Nervosa and the ucranians Jinjer, real breakthrough of the '20s.
LUPPOLO IN ROCK 2022
2022. L'anno della svolta. Inaugurando l'evento con una kermesse nella quale si esibiscono per tre giorni consecutivi band italiane di spicco nell'ambiente heavy metal. Così comincia per il quarto anno Luppolo in Rock.
Dapprima il venerdì, giornata ibrida, nella quale si sono esibiti dai Moonsorrow a Jorn Lande.
Sabato, nonostante la defezione all'ultimo dei Katatonia, non ci siamo dati per vinti, riuscendo a portare sul palco del festival Leprous, Moonspell, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Novembre e Shores of Null.
Infine domenica è stata la giornata thrash metal, capitanata dai Testament, facenti capo a Exodus, Heathen, Extrema e Skanners.
E il meglio deve ancora venire...
2022. The real turning point. Luppolo in Rock starts promoting a several number of italian heavy metal bands. So it begins the 4th edition of Luppolo in Rock.
First of, friday the 15th, a hybrid day, in which played like Jorn, Moonsorrow and Jesper Binzer.
Saturday the 16th, despite the defection of Katatonia, due to airport issues, we brought to the stage Leprous, Moonspell, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Novembre and Shores of Null.
On Sunday it was thrash metal time, helmed by Testament, with Exodus, Heathen, Extrema and Skanners.
And the best is yet to come...
